Heya, I'm trying to actually socialize on dreamwidth, and I found you through the Alice's Adventures in Wonderland tag. I thought maybe we had enough in common to add each other. Do you have a favorite adaptation/adaptations?
I've looked through your intro post, so, sure we can add each other! Here, have some plum cake with fireworks. ;)
My favorite Alice movie is the BBC one for Through the Looking-glass, starring Kate Beckinsale. I find it sticks as close as it can to the story, even including the Wasp in the Wig chapter that wasn't published. As for Wonderland, I like the animated Disney one. I like Burton's pretty good. Hopefully, I'll be receiving the double feature showing two silent films from 1913 and 1915; I found it on Amazon. ^_^ What about you?
That intro post is so long-winded; you should have a cake just for dropping by it. lol I haven't seen the one with Kate Beckinsale, but it's sounds pretty impressive to have included an unpublished chapter. Maybe that will be the next one I check out. My favorite films up until now are Disney's, 1972, and 1999. My favorite Alice TV show is Adventures in Wonderland (1992). What a shame that Lewis Carroll passed away before the story started to be adapted - bet he would have enjoyed to see it.
